For example... The United ***** College Fund, The Hispanic College Fund, Native American College Fund. Now I myself am not racist, but I can understand where some of the feelings come from. How dare society do that, when a "United White College Fund" would be greatly outcast. Why should it be acceptable for anyone else?

The reason for this double standard is clear. You admitted yourself that you're not a racist, and that's the problem. You see, the blacks, Mestizos, Asians, Jews, etc. " ARE " racists. And they're that way mostly against Whites. But due to Marxist indoctrination spewed forth through the Jewish-owned media, many Whites, contrary to their own common sense, feel guilt-ridden for what is falsely said to be past " injustices " against the minorities. So they buy into the mythical nonsense that minorities should have special privileges, (aka - unfair advantages), which is where the various minority college funds come in. If you truly find this double standard disturbing, your only choice is to forget any silly notion of fairness and equality between the races and get reacquainted with your natural instincts, i.e., become a racist yourself.

What used to be the majority is now the minority, my friend. A long time ago, the most powerful people were white, landowning, males. But over time, the minorities, such as women, african americans, and hispanics, got rights, and a few other perks along the way. The perks are now the inequalities we have today. The perks were ment to make people equal, but instead they made them more equal. But all you can to is grit your teeth, because the government gives equal rights to all, the perks are controlled by private companies and outreaching millionares, and they can do whatever they want with their money. But if you want to create a United Caucasian College Fund, and you have a few million dollars lying around your house, than more power to you.

Who says that a White College Fund would be greatly outcast? Frankly, I think that if white people got their acts together and did something like this, nobody would really care. Similarily, I don't think there would be a problem with a Heterosexual Pride Day Parade! As a straight white person I couldn't care less about these "double standards", but I'm not willing to imagine reverse-discrimination that doesn't actually exist.

I think in the cases you have mentioned, the "double standards" are actually meant to level a playing field that has historically been very uneven. Some label it as special treatment, but the intent is to equalize levels of opportunity. Indeed, it is a requirement of a fair and just society that it do its best to provide equality of opportunity (not to be confused with equality of outcomes).

I'm reminded of a retort that was once given in response to an accusation that it was way too easy for members of a certain race to get into a certain college; "If it were really that easy, there would be more of us there".

Just my two cents . . .

It shouldn't. Anything that seeks to divide a people or make a distinction based on race should not be tolerated, but it is in our society. I agree that anything to do with whites would be considered racist and unjust, but why is it OK for others to denote such distinctions and not be accused of being racists. It is hypocritical and socially divisive to make such distinctions based on race or background.

As a white American, we can not use prejudice for whatever situation we got ourselves into. We have no excuses. Other minorities have been beat down and anything that helps them get a leg up -education-wise- great.
