I have a candle holder similar to this:

but instead of having the rims for the votive holders, it has a flat surface. I would like to know what to put on them. I can put the votive holders but I would like another idea. Thanks

That looks really cool, and I am sure you could put many things on it, but I would put small potted herbs, grasses, and low growing flowers staggered throughout.

You could really go anywhere with that, it is really neat! Flowers, pictures, small nik nacs......
