Ok, this might sound stupid, but I was going to braid my hair, like corn rows and an ex friend of mine (black) told me that it wouldn't look right on white people (I'm white). I thought that was a bit rascist....What do you think?

I am black and i think that it might look cute cuz my step sister is whithe and i braided her hair and when she went to school everyone thought it was cute. Sometimes people are just jelous listen to your heart and do what you feel u shouldnt need opions about what to do to your self because its your body not theirs

Girl your friend or whatever she is probably mad cause she ain't got no hair. Now some white females do look crazy especially if they are white as a ghost and big as h***.but that's because they let some body do they hair and they purposely messed it up.It really depends on what you look like too.But regardless what others say exspecially white girls with some blonde look good them other broads be hattin cause some white girls look better than them.Believe me I know Im all hood and ho** be mad at white girl when she looks fly just laugh it off and go on about your business. But remember every body tries to have white girl hair anyways.

I think on either race it makes the person look like an idiot. Forget about it and use a curling iron or something else. Shave your head but those corn rows seriously look horrible. No offense to you or your friend. Just MHO.

it might look cute depending on how your face is shaped.....Let someone who knows what there doing braid your hair just to try it out...if it looks bad its easy just take the rubber bands out of your hair and take out the braids....there is nothing wrong with trying something new...

i think unless u have really really healthy hair, u will get severe breakage, and if u have a sensitive scalp, it'll hurt. the braids have to b done tightly in order for it to look good.

It depends on the thickness of your hair. Sometimes it doesn't look right. In fact, it looks quite greasy. I don't think they were being racist, I think they were stating their opinion.

It's not racist, just the truth. I've seen it, cornrows look ridiculous on white people.
