Actually, Naseem Hamed is in jail. He was sentenced to fifteen months just recently due to reckless driving. He caused a car crash that broke every major bone in the other driver's body, and he was lucky to have survived.
Hamed only had one more fight after he was beaten by Marco Antonio Barerra in 2001. He had promised to come back but seemed to have discipline problems and was overweight. He never actually retired and the article below says he's training in prison, but I'm not really sure he'll be back in the ring again.

Prince Nassem Hamed is in jail for 15 months (will come out after 8 months if he is good). Naz has never formally retired but after he fought Barrera his invincibilty went(just like Tyson). After being beaten, he became a normal but good fighter. His fight with Calvo made his own mind up that he never would a great feared fighter. A shame as I believe if he trained better then he could have been another world champion. Barrera and Morales were unfortunately in the same weight class how unlucky.

Not retired but he was sentenced to 15 months in jail for dangerous driving (an accident), but his last fight was in 2002 in which he lost to Marco Antonio Barrera, so retirement may be coming.
