because not everyone is a real christian:: What Jesus is saying is that they need to know and do the will of the Father in heaven. Look at all the things they did, but he says I don't know you.. That is because they didn't really know him, but were religious trying to do it in their own way.. You can not be almost anything and do it your own way. The military, a job at wal-mart, almost everyone tells you how they want it done.. God is like that and the Bible is the rule, not the catechism, tradition, or my personal ideas.. I know that you reject the Bible so would reject this, I am saying this only so that you will understand my point not agree with it. Or like you say (why did you ask this question) well I assume that you asked to find out opinions..

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Because some people are afraid of offending others I suppose. But I don't say Jesus is the only way to heaven, the bible says He is the only way to eternal life and therefore, salvation. He is the way the truth and the life, take a good long look at the bible, especially the new testament. What are you so skeptical for? What will you do if the time comes, you die, and go before the judgment seat, and find love was the answer, waiting for you, and you rejected it? I know the truth, it has set me free, and if you ask for your eyes and heart to be opened, you will be free to know what salvation really is. Blessings.

Jesus IS the only way. Period.

John 14:6
"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Both groups can't be right if they give extremely opposite positions on a basic issue of truth. It's a lot easier to be Catholic where, because of the authority that has always been with the Church, you can find the answer to whatever the question is on faith and morals and put the issue to rest.

illuminati-dude,
why u so concern about these open and opiniated christians. why don't you spill some of your secret society secrets. do u really have bloodpact with satan or some evil spirits? Once u r done meddling with them, if u need help for someone to release you from that power of darkness, remember to call on Jesus. His blood will set you free. I know that THAT is the only way for freedom from demonic possessions and attacks.

because of this verse from the new testemant;
John 14:6 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
It excludes everyone else except Jesus.

He stated that I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

He also stated that you shall know the Truth, and the Truth will make you free.

That's like people saying that good people will make it into heaven, when the word says that one must be born again as that of a child.

Hello sean.. :)

I cannot speak for others..but the Bible clearing states..

John 14

Jesus the Way to the Father

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

In Jesus Most Precious Name..
With Love In Christ..

When you have two opposing views, one must of necessity be wrong; or both views can be wrong, but not both right. Unfortunately, some Christians elevate their opinion over Scripture. I prefer to base my views of my religion off of Scripture.
