i am in 8th grade and i am goin to be a cheerleader...all my friends and a guy i like say that i have to get used to guys grabbing my butt....is that true...why????

You don't have to "get used" to guys grabbing you if you become a cheerleader. If you don't want guys to grab you they have no right to, it's sexual assault and is illegal when someone touches you without your permission in a sexual way. (at least in Canada, U.S. law is similar but it might be called something else like "indecent assault") If this happens and it bothers you tell an adult you trust such as as one of your teachers, or your parents, they will help you out.

Perhaps your friends meant to say that cheerleading is
a kind of public sexual teasing of men. And many guys
would wish to grab your butt.
Cheerleaders prance around in skimpy clothes and show
off their sexy bodies in front of mostly male crowds at sports
events. And when you behave like that, then many men are
bound to look at you as a sex object that they'd like to grab
and enjoy the feel.
Of course, there are laws and regulations which forbid men
from acting out on such wishes. And most men only imagine
what they'd like to do without doing anything.
But often it's the thought that counts. And perhaps your friends
meant to say that many guys will begin to look at you as a sex
object, after you become a cheerleader.

Guys grab your butt cause they are horn dogs. if you let them and do say anything about it they will only think one thing of you and it isn't nice but on the other hand if you say something and stand up for yourself your a prude so what do you do? Well any unwanted touching from anyone is sexual harasment and you need to stand up and say stay away from me if you don't like it. if you want them to grab your butt that's a different story. but if it offends you let them know and if it keeps up go to an adult. remember not saying something can put you into the danger zone for rape and other things. i hope this helped out some.

Yes if I guy is a backspot they will sometimes have to shove up on your butt to put u in a stunt. I am a backspot (girl) and u have to do this for liberties and most one legged stunts. But without someone pushing on the flyer's butt, the flyer would come crashing down. So, I guess think of it as a matter of life and death. If the guy doesn't push ur butt in the air, u will come crashing down. LOL

Sweetheart, here's the deal... you have to stand up for yourself. If a guy or anyone for that matter gives you any kind of attention that's unwanted, you need to make sure they know that it's not OK. If you don't say anything about it, that's when it's going to continue to happen. A simple "Hey man, that's not cool. Don't do it again" is all you need. If you let people take advantage of you they will.

well yea, when ur a cheerleader, ur considered to be a slut in a sense. so it gives off the vibe that you would be into that sort of thing
