Guess what? If you are a spiritual person (no matter what your belief system), its quite possible that most of what you believe, or think you know, is probably very different from what actually exists. Humans have surprisingly little capacity to imagine, to any full extent of accurateness, physical places that they've never been to, let alone spiritual. (Have you ever gone on a long-awaited vacation, and found that the destination, while very nice, was not quite what you imagined?). Therefore, the same must be true, to a greater extent, for concepts that are not even tangible, such as those spiritual. Even within the same religions, there almost has to be completely different interpretations of dogma and doctrine, and even, what Heaven and Hell must be like. So, when you get to either (which ever way you're headed), there are bound to be surprises.

Peter was escorting a group of new arrivals in heaven. When he came to a high wall. He began to whisper. When asked why, he said, that's where the [insert religion] are, and they think they are the only ones here.
In Mark 9:41 Jesus said "whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name because you belong to Christ... he shall not lose his reward."
If some one lives his faith, enriches the lives of others, and makes the world better, it can't be a "lie". He may have been born into or learned what turns out to be an incorrect theology, but it less important than good he does.
I claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of my own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege. Let them worship how, where or what they may.
So I would tell the Gods that I used the conscience they gave me, and did the best I could. Now send me teachers to explain what I couldn't understand on earth.

That would never happen I am not going to heaven and your question is a farce and doesn't even make sense because if your religion is a lie there is no way that you would even get to heaven to get told that, you are quite a bit confused by the sounds of your question.

For starters, why would you be in heaven if it was bogus? And why would there be Gods if there was no religion? I would be happy to just be in heaven and to know that there was a God, cuz then I'd know that the bible is for real!! (even though I believe it already)

If that were to happen, I feel like I haven't lost anything by believing in God, but on the other hand, What happens to you if I am right to believe and you get up there and there is a God?

If what you believed weren't true, then chances are you wouldn't end up in heaven, now would you? And since I'm an atheist, I'd laugh to myself and say "oops".

If you then had led a nice, respectable life, and never hurt anyone, whether God exists or not is irrelevent. You still come out ahead. You're still in heaven.

Didn't that happen in the South Park movie? I find it amusing to imagine that when Christians get to heaven they get told that they interpreted the bible wrong for all these years and that homosexuality is normal and now they are going to hell for not extending the communal love to embrace them. Just imagine.....

which religion do the gods in the heaven follow? all these days i was thinking that religions exist only on the earth.once u die only your deeds (good or bad ) come with u.u go to either hell or heaven according to your deeds on the earth not according to your religion.god welcomes even those people who do not believe in him if they are good. u r judged only by your deeds & NOT by your religion.
