alot of guys believe that girls are only attracted to guys that act like jerks and not the nice guys. I for one, love nice guys. but I just wanted to know why guys have this dumb notion in their heads that girls like assholes?

Because most of them need to grow up. If you want a nice lady you gotta be the same too. The same reason some girls do have things for assholes, but thier is nothing to do. I thing why because they never try to find love or never recieved it.

well, for some reason guys that are nice dont come off as a take charge kinda guy, and women think that is what they want. They tend to learn that is not true as time goes on. My guy could not keep a girl for more than 2 weeks, cause he was so nice. I got soooo lucky to find him. There are nice guys out there you just have to take your time. My guy said he actually tried to be a jerk, cause thats what he saw the guys who got girls doing. He said it actually worked. It was not who he was though. Good luck

First, if the guy thinks that he has to act like a jerk and the girl likes it has a few screws loose. It's very demeaning to himself and any potential girlfriends. Now, if the guy starts out nice and then turns around to be a jerk, well then, sister, it's time to rethink the plan.

Coming from a nice guy...ya'll like jerks. It is just that simple. Before you deny this, look at the guys you date and then the guys who are just friends. The just friend guys are the nice guys right? Well believe me, they didn't start out wanting to be just friends...they settled for it.

In reality it's only the jerks that ever get girls. The nice guys don't get girls, and thats why you only hear about jerks.

i can only answer this from personal experience but some of the girls that i have went out with when i was too nice to them they took it for granted and expected it. but when i was nice but also mixed it up with being an asshole they would not let go and would try to do everything they could to make me happy

Sister you are dealing with the wrong guys and they are probably just immature and at that younger age they are looking more to impress their friends around instead of caring about another's feelings. If they don't treat you with respect DO NOT take it personal because they are just ignorant, just quickly kick them to the curb until you find a good man. Everyone deserves to be respected.

because they think it impresses girls when they can throw a football far, burp, stupid stuff that they do. The nice guys are themselves and they dotn change. the jerks do whatever to get your attention until somone else catches thiers. Stick with the nice guys.

Maybe it's bc they are single and see women being abused by the bad boy,a**hole type. Unfortunately, not all guys come across as a jerk at first. I learned from experience.Personally I don't want an a**hole, and haven't ever.

Not all guys are like that. The ones that think that they need to act "hardcore" and those who parents never tought them how to respect a girl are the main ones out there who act like that. I'm not one of those though. So i should know
