Jesus said, "Let the dead, bury the dead." I take that to mean they are digging their own grave, let them continue. But that doesn't mean you should give them a shovel.

Murphy's Law says, "Given a choice between heaven and hell, most will opt for hell."

If you read the curse, at the end of Revelation, you'll find the same message.

Jesus never told anyone that there going to Hades. I believe people will not be held accountable for what they do not have knowledge of. If a person does know and sins then he or she will be held accountable. Telling people there going to Hades because they do not believe the same thing that you do would be making a judgement that you do not have the right make. Christ said Ye with no sin cast the first stone. People still have yet to learn of Christ and his teachings. I Testify Jesus Christ is My savior and is the savior of all mankind he suffered in the garden of Gethsemane bled at every pore because of mine and your sins. I believe All men and women will be resurected and will be made whole.

You have an obligation to do what God tells you to do, especially if you're a Christian.

In the Old Testament, there's a passage that says that if the watchman sees the hand of judgement coming, and does nothing to warn the city, and they don't repent, they will be taken away (their lives), but "I will require their blood at your hand" (you will be responsible and pay for not warning them).

Then He says, if you see the hand of judgment coming, and you do warn them, and they don't repent, then they will be taken away (killed) in their sin, but you will have saved yourself from judgement.

It's pretty serious stuff. That's what the Great Commission is. God says, "Go" (into all the world and preach the Gospel to every living creature).

I think the obligation lies in a different place. You have an obligation to tell people that they're not going to hell, because they don't believe in the same thing as you.

Hehe.

I think you should probably go with the last part of that question :)

This is America. you have the right to do as you please, to believe as you please. if you believe in god then that should be good enough for him/her. But if you consider yourself to be called to save others, all you can do is show them the path. they must walk it. Don't get discourged when someone tells you you're wrong. The only wrong people are those who remain to be closed minde about other peoples and their way of life. Some may accept your point of view and others may turn a blind towards it and refuse to be open to your views. I wise man once told me that if you save one soul then nothing was on vain. Rememer: Never give up, Never surrender.

That's a very important question that I'm not qualified to answer. However, there are a growing number of experts on this subject on Yahoo answers who are fully committed to tell you what is right and wrong in the context of belief, therefore, you posted your question in the right place!

I had a really, really, rough weekend, things are not in my control and if there was a god, he would not let things happen. So all the f __ king christians out there can pray and pray all you want, but if you live right and do right to others, you still have to deal with what LIFE hands out to you. I have a right to be sad for awhile, but I don't have to believe in their crap!!!

Christians are told to compel them to come.
You can save souls from death!
If you want to know what is right, pray from your heart to God, open up his book-the Holy Bible- and read the New Testament.
Your Church should preach what the first Church preached! That's found in the book of Acts.

No, if you really feel you must warn them,, you can,, but God has given us all the freedom of choice, and I believe everyone knows that and they choose right or wrong, good and bad,

Just keep your religion to yourself, and respect the rights of people who do not wish to believe. I'm a non-believer, but I respect your beliefs, whatever they are. You should show me the same respect.
