Because you are obviously not stopping me from doing so. And to everyone who is reading this who is not God, please tell me why I haven't killed myself long ago.

I am not blaming God for my misery, I'm just saying that he's not stopping my misery in any way.

Also, Do not claim to be God. The real God is too humble (by that I mean he is NOT a show-off) to show himself in any way these days.

1. I have asked for forgiveness, accepted Jesus in my heart and soul, etc. Or at least I think I did. 2. Have you ever thought that when you tell people to think of those worse off than them, maybe you are making them feel like a total ***hole? 3. Please, use proper spelling and grammar.

Shut up or I'll turn you into a pillar of salt. Or flood the world. Don't try me.

Perhaps you can take this view, my version (which may or may not be the correct version) into account. Consider existentialism. That means that, basically, there is no God, and your life is completely and totally without inherent meaning. Meaning that you are not BORN with meaning, you must CREATE your own. It's kind of a way of saying that you can control your destiny, you can see the effects and actions you can do. You have freedom- you may think what you want, you can type or speak to whomever. Having been in your place (assuming that you seem to have suicidal tendancies) I looked up a long time ago, and said to myself, Sure, I'm alone. But I'm alone with seven BILLION other people on the planet. I can do what I want to- I can affect and interact and change those people. You too have that power. It kinda rocks. So, don't fret, you don't have to place all of your faith in any one place. Simply remember that you can change, and you can cause change. The world never stays the same. It's always in motion. Whatever pain you feel now will fade. Trust me.

You sound as though you are in great pain. You did not say how or why you are miserable. Are you in physical pain? Do you suffer from a disease or physical impairment? Or are you in pain due to general unhappiness and or depression.
Let me assure you that God takes no pleasure in your discomfort. Everything about Him, His Nature and His Hope for mankind indicates He wants only what is best for us. But, for many various reasons we live under natural law and we know as the Hindu saying goes, the only thing we know for sure in this life is that we WILL suffer. The Bible says it rains on the just as well as the unjust, part of that natural law again.
I know it is an untruth to say that misery loves company. What you really want is to stop hurting. But killing yourself is not the answer! Because you will REALLY be jumping from the frying pan into the fire! I am sorry for speaking in cliches but I believe if you are to find peace and happiness you must look beyond yourself.
Find a cause that is greater than yourself. Focus your attention on altruism rather than so much on self. The worst thing you can do is wallow in your misery, whether it be physical, spiritual or mental. You just need to get busy if you are mobile and find something noble to do.
Good luck to you, Friend.

Have you ever read the poem called "The Footprints in the Sand"? It tells of a man going thru some tough times in his life and when he looked on the sand, he noticed 2 sets of footprints (one was his and the other was the Lords), You see, the Lord was with him all his life, helping him get by and watching him. In the saddest times of this mans life, he noticed only one set of footprints. So, he asked the Lord why at the saddest time of his life did the Lord leave him. You know what the Lord said? He said, "My child, I love you so much and I would never leave you.....it was at these times that I carried you" God loves you and is there for you even in your times of misery! So, don't ever give up....he is there!! You obviously aren't dead because you want to live more. I will pray for you too, but, please pick up a bible and read. You will eventually stop crying.

I am sorry that you feel this way. God gives you the choice. It really is up to you to start the climb in the right direction. God will be there to help you in ways you don't even know. I hope you don't kill yourself. It damns you to hell and even more so it destroys those that love you. It is the most selfish thing you can do. Think of your family and friends and then if you are honest about wanting to be free and know GOD it is not hard to find someone willing to help you.
I pray you are okay and find what ever it is that you need.
God tends to answer prayers that you really need answered. Just likemost parents , Your Father Knows best.

You have to cross the sea. In order to cross the sea you have to be able to over come three basic issues in life. Sexual issues, fear based issues and obtaining an understanding of the over all picture to make that journey into a state of peace. He gave us what we need to make that journey through the Son, but it is most difficult to put your Trust in God. Psalms is a tool to help people to make that journey. Seek to the living, a most important thing to remember.
I've done this and it is very hard. I, myself am my own worst enemy. God is my friend. The Lord is compassionate and merciful. The Lord is your compass. God does not give you anything that you cannot handle.
Other people may not want you to make the journey, keep going, and don't turn back. Don't give up on yourself. There is a little piece of God within you and all around you.

I wonder that to I'm suffering with some problems and although \I'm an agnostic I wonder why if there is a God he can't just wave his hand and make me better I know that's a bit silly. I see people on here saying they been cured of illnesses, Healed of cancer, cured of mental illnesses and with something like that could happen to me. Maybe u haven't killed ur self coz u don't want to die. Have u seen Ur Doctor about this? Maybe u should see a therapist or councilor. I been trying this which helps me its called Emotional Freedom Technique it sounds bazaar but does help to relieve unwanted emotions very quickly.

God doesn't "make" people do anything and He doesn't stop people from doing anything. God gave Man the ability to think and reason. It's called "Free Will." Animals do not have Free Will; they act instinctively. God will not damn a lion to Hell for the premeditated killing of an antelope. God put antelopes on the Earth for lions to eat. God did not put Man on the Earth for him to kill other men.
We have the power of intelligent speech for the purposes of resolving our interpersonal differences peacefully-- animals fight until they kill each other.
I believe that every real adversity is a test given to you by God. Dropping your iPod and having it break is not an adversity. Having a child with a dread disease is an adversity. I also believe God will never throw anything at you that you cannot handle if you ask for His help. God is there to help you, but He does not as a matter of course reach down and straighten everything out for you.

You just helped many other people today with you pain and calling out. You are not alone. It was in my most pain and my biggest hour of need that I first had the Holy Spirit come to me and I met Jesus Christ as my Savior. Most of the people who answered you don't want you to die and they don't even know you. Through them God has answered your prayers. I have a question- have you talked to a doctor about your depression? You may need medication to help you handle it. God helps those who helps themselves. Also there are many support groups - check your local newspaper for one who may fit your problem. you have prayed and some of these things could be your answers.
I once heard this story: There once was this guy stranded in the middle of the ocean on a life boat. Being a religious man he prayed to God for help. Not long after a helicopter came along and offered him help. He said no he prayed to God and God would help him. After that a boat came along and offered him help. He said no he prayed to God and God would help him. After while he couldn't go without water and the sun was too hot so he died. He met God very angry and asked "I prayed to you! Why didn't you help me?" God replied " didn't you see my helicopter? Didn't you see my boat?" I am saying to you - please see your answers and get help- we love you and so does God!

Read James 1:2-3.-- " Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance."
Now read James 1:12.-- " Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him."
Vs. 13 says that you are not tempted by God, but by evil.
I would recommend that you read the entire book of James. It is only 5 chapters and is full of wisdom. It can be very helpful to anyone dealing with the common or even uncommon trials of life. Pray for wisdom and strength. God is here for you.
