So I woke up this morning to two small holes approx. 1 cm appart on the side of my breast. I'm pretty sure it was a spider, but not sure what kind, as obviously I didn't see it. Each hole initially looked like a tiny zit, but when I "popped" it, it REALLY hurt. I left it alone all morning and now it's gone from just the two little holes to two little holes with a reddish/pink somewhat raised, slightly bumpy circular area around it, probably an inch in diameter. It doesn't really hurt except for the occassional sharp sting of pain shooting away from it, but those are few and far between. Doesn't hurt to touch it. Any idea what bit me? Should I do something for it or just leave it alone? Thanks!

sounds like a spider, most are just irritating, use a product called after bite, lanacane or calamine might help, too. if it looks like infection clean it with peroxide and apply neosporin or another brand of triple antibiotic. if your run a fever, become nausious(sick), have muscle cramps, dissiness, or puss coming out of the wounds see a doctor immediately.

Probably a spider bite. If you're concerned, clean it with a little hydrogen peroxide so it doesn't develop a secondary infection. Otherwise, it should be OK.
I would also wash all the linens on the bed and vacuum under the bed and around it, to get rid of the little sucker(s).
If you're REALLY concerned, check the web for your health department for your state. They usually have a statement for what kinds of critters live in your area, and what to do if you are bit. Go to your Dr if everybody on here has scared the **** out of you. I doubt it's anything that serious:)

it would be difficult to know without the actual spider.Keep a close eye on it. The worse case scenario is the brown recluse spider bite where the tissue blackens and actually necrosis can occur (death of the surrounding muscles and other tissue). This is usually not the case. Use your best judgment. After three days, if it improves continue keeping it clean, neosporin ointment and use warm compresses and Tylenol as needed. You should be fine. have a great day .

I'm pretty sure it is a spider bite but their are only a few poisonous spiders in the US. Chances are it will heal in a few days but if you have blisters you should get checked out especially if it gets worse than it is right now. If you start feeling sick it could be a black widow bite or if it starts looking really infected it could be a brown recluse bite. If either one of those start to happen go on to the ER. Those are the most common types of poisonous spiders in the US.

Sounds like a spider bite, and it depends on where you live. If you live in an area prone to black widows and other poisonous spiders, then you should be worried. I'd ask other people who live around your area, just to be sure. Either way, if it gets any worse, see a doctor... regular spider bites shouldn't cause any real pain or marks on your body 2 days after you're bitten.

It could have been a spider, that's the most likely culprit. If you continue to have redness and/or swelling past the weekend, or if the area starts to burn or the redness spreads, you should have it checked out. You could be having an allergic reaction. I would apply neosporin and keep the area clean and dry.. Benadryl will also help with the redness and swelling.

That is really serious, as you describe the pink/red is a sign of infection, you better see your doctor soon...
Very like a spider bit, but some are very dangerous and you better take some medicine and make sure what was it...

I don't know what type of spider it was, but I'm sure it was a spider. You should get to the doctor's asap to see if you need any medical help. If you sit back and hope it will go away, it will just get worse!

Just leave it alone and you'll heal naturally. I don't know what bit you but if it was dangerous you'd be dead by now.
