The reality is just words.

It is all having sex.

Women like to call it something glamorous because our society has spent centuries trying to get us all to buy into the concept that sex is dirty and wrong.

Somehow if you're "in love" the sex isn't sex. That's just rubbish!

Sex is sex.

Though I will tell you that sex with someone you have a deep emotional connection to is indeed vastly superior to emotionless sex.

But here's the part a lot of people don't realize, you can feel that emotional connection with someone you barely know. Some call that love, those of us who've experienced better know that's just good old fashioned lust. This is why people will think they are in love with someone they just met and even get obsessive about it.

I can also tell you that you can be also be very much in love with someone and sometimes just "*****." That's okay too, in fact it's great because sometimes ya just need what ya need and if your lover won't give it to you because they want a ton of romance first or aren't in the mood, your relationship is going to suffer.

So...in reality there is no difference. Even though there is a difference between romantic and mechanical sex.

The difference between having sex and making love can be described in one word: Feelings. Dogs and cats can have sex, but are they really capable of deep feelings? I think not. The person who make love to you has your best interest at heart. The others just want to jump your bones to satisfy their own lust and gratification. Making love is a matter of the heart, while having sex is a matter of selfish needs. When my wife and I come together it's to make love, not have sex.

When you make love you are selfless thinking only of loving your partner. It's a beautiful and spirited thing. When just having sex the motives are different, self serving. You can be considerate and please the other during sex but it's just that... it's like you're being considerate. The pleasure given when making love is greater because the level of passion is soul deep and not skin deep. People who love each other can make love or have sex... it's the level of connection in their minds that distinguishes the difference.

Having sex is just going through the motions, with no feelings besides pleasure or pain involved. Making love is displaying the deep emotional feelings you feel towards the other person and feeling closer and becoming more connected to that perosn by the end of it.

Making love requires the act of acutally loving the person you are with. Nto just for the moment , not just for the fun, not just for the satisfaction they are giving you. When making love its passionate, great, what you wnated, taking it slow, taking your time, meanignful. Now sex, sex is with anyone, whenever, wherever, however, for the time with a person you may or may not see again, someone you hardly have a connection with, sometimes, rough, quick, unsatisfying, and not worth the time it lasted. basically. Sex is impersonal, and meaningless. Wait til you make love with someone and compare it to plain sex you'll know the difference yourself.

making love is being with the person you truly love, and want to be with for the rest of your life, and they feel the same way. Sex is something people do to sometimes just have a connection with someone, no matter the reason. It should always be for love. I am a romantic

Animals can have sex. Only human beings can make love. There is a time and place for each. The truly creative among us can combine the two effectively! Practice makes perfect...

When you make love, you do "it" to the person you really care for and respect.

Having sex means having carnal knowledge of anybody. She or he could be a stranger you just met a few minutes ago or a prostitute who is willing to have sex for money.

In the latter case, there is total lack of love; just lust.

Sex is just an act. Making love involves more of a connection and passion and a mutual respect for one another.

There is a huge difference! Having sex is great, i'm not going to lie.
But making love is beautiful! I can't even explain it. The first time I made love, my life change forever. I'm not with her anymore, but I still miss her.
