Wow ...that's a tough one no one can truly understand the way you must feel right now,but the best thing to do is to let them know when YOU are ready to hear their thoughts on the subject. If you are not really ready to hear the negative side of their opinion, then wait till you are! You then can except their view as much as wanting them to except yours and your lifestyle. It's just a thought !
Also remember to tell them it's not a choice how you feel about this lifestyle.I wish I could relate to you and your situation, but I am a heterosexual female. But mostly I am a parent . If you were my daughter no matter what I would love you no matter what sexual preference you choose . Unfortunately not everyone is as open minded as I, just give them a chance to let it sink in.....LOL

You know it might be kind of a hard task to tell them that your a lesbian, but its all good. You gotta be dedicated & determine about your life goals, but its no excuses in your life. What im tring to say be proud of who you are & tell your parents that you are a lesbian. They should love you for who you are. Understand that it is going to be hard, but pull yourself up asa life goes on. Be you.

I know many gay people, and everyone of them has told there family. They are loved no matter what. I know 9 people, and only one of them had a problem with their parents. Just be honest to them, and they will love you. It is who you are, and there is nothing wrong with that. Good luck and peace be with you.

my brother in law just did. took him a while. i guess all i can say is that u will be able to relax better knowing that your family finally knows. If you have a current partner take her around for dinner. but i guess it depends on how open minded your parents are to

Be honest and upfront, dont do it while there are other people around, its important that your family know but let your parents know by themselves first...they may surprise you and already know....respect at all times.

Okay, this sounds really bad........
Tell them you have a horrible disease and may die within the month, when they get all upset say, "Not really, I'm just gay".
They'll be so relieved you won't die that they'll accept it.
Damn it really sounds bad but I'll submit it anyway :)
