It is logical that he was a Jew. But why the constant bickering about what race Jesus was? This is of minor consequence when compared to what he represented and the part he continues to play in the world of mankind. He gave his life, a ransom sacrifice for ALL mankind. And he is the means through which we are able to approach God in prayer. He plays a significant role in the outworking of God's purpose concerning mankind, and that is what should concern us.

The Bible teaches, "There is no partiality with God.”—Romans 2:11. Jehovah God’s impartiality allowed for people of various races to become Jewish proselytes. During his earthly ministry, Jesus, who is the exact representation of his Father, imitated Jehovah’s impartiality. (Hebrews 1:3) His primary concern at the time was to find “the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Yet, he did not hold back from witnessing to a Samaritan woman at a well. (Matthew 15:24; John 4:7-30) He also performed a miracle at the request of an army officer, apparently a non-Jew. (Luke 7:1-10) That was in addition to demonstrating by his actions his love for God’s people. Jesus’ disciples preached far and wide too. It became clear that the criterion for receiving Jehovah’s blessing was linked, not to nationality, but to attitude. Humble, honesthearted people who were hungry for the truth responded to the Kingdom good news.

OK, i have to get this off of my chest. I have watched my husband answer many of your questions, and I can only pray that you are not the moron you seem to be. To answer you question however, Jesus was Middle Eastern, neither black nor white. Now for some unsolicited advice..... Learn to speak and write in proper English, doing this will accelerate your ability to get off of welfare and find a woman who wants more than your "d!kk". Get an education and you will be able to find a job that pays for your Escalade. Oh one more thing, the word is laid, not laided.

" A white man and a black man are standing on a hill arguing over whether God is black or white. Finally they cried out.. "God are you black or white?" He answered " I am what I am." "See!" said the white man, " I told you he was white." " What do you mean?" asked the black man. " If he was black, he would have answered I is what I is." LOL

Nope--BROWN==

" What colour of skin did the man known as Jesus Christ have ? "
A -- No problem ! I can answer you. Your answer in one word "Brown" !

All the people on this planet Earth are descendants from the first couple -
Adam and Eve. We are ALL just shades of that same colour !

Hold a sheet of Real White and Real Black paper up against your skin.
I can tell you "for certain" that your skin colour matches neither of these
paper colour samples. We are all "off white - or - BROWN !

WE ARE ALL OF THE SAME COLOUR because we are all indeed
descendants of that couple. Because of protective pigmentation we
are of different shades indeed.

What a beautiful example of how OUR MAKER designed us and built
a protective system into our skins to protect us from the suns rays !

Few people realize that The Bible does not say anything in opposition to
what is referred to as "mixed marriages". This is precisely why.

If "mixed marriages" do not work in our society, as it is today, it is because
of the arrogance of man. To "prove" superiority they often use gross
misinterpretations of Bible passages or misapply a Bible passage to
make it look like it proves them correct.

that's a great question due to the era and land Jesus was from it is like 99% percent chance he is black or just really dark skinned

the reason people think he is white is because of roman art where the depicted the popular white image of Jesus but its all a matter of how you want to see him

Jesus Christ was of the same ethnicity as the people currently living in Israel (then called Judea). He was not black. There is no mention of his pigmentation in the Bible. Had he been black, I would certainly think those who wrote the Bible would have referred to him as a Nubian at least once.

Well, bballinmonkeymanbeback,

I don't think anyone really knows what color Jesus was, whats important is that race doesn't really matter to God, He loves all of His children unconditionally.

God bless!

In the Bible it says Jesus is a man of color. So it's very possible He is black.

Y'know, when people in Africa present a play about Jesus or make a statue of him, they make Him black. 'Cause what matters about Jesus is that the Son of God really became *human*. (You know we human beings are all just one species, right?)

The fact that he became human *like us*, and now he's got that in common with you and with me -- is just mind-boggling.
