yes, to show that she is my property and no one else can have her. I personally prefer hand around the waist

Absolutly not, unless they want something, now if you get to know a guy who hold hands with you , he is probably doing it because he either :
1- show ing off (if you are famous, or drop dead pretty)
2- want sex
3- thinks that you are weak, you and he is guiding you !!
4- want to tease his x-girl friend who happened to pass by
5- You are a very very BARND new girl friend and he wants to impress you
trust me, men rarely hold hands !
