How come middle kids always have issues? no morals or dignity...?

I wasn't born an asshole, I do have to work at it, it's a full time job.

I don't know, but my criminal justice professor pointed this out too when I was in school. In a graduate class of more than twenty, there was not one single middle child, unless you count a second-born twin. I guess they just slip through the cracks.

I am very offended by this question. I am a middle child. I have morals & I have dignity. And I can say I don't always have issues. When I was 15, I moved out on my own. I took care of myself & looked after my sisters. The only issues I have right now is dealing with the fact that my health is deteriorating fast and there is nothing the doctors can do for me except keep me comfortable. This issue with this is Where is my family? my mother, my 4 sisters. They can't be here for me but I can be there for them.

I'm the youngest, but there are four "middles" between me and the oldest. None of them has any more problems than anyone else in the world. They are all very moral and have more dignity than you'll ever understand.

They don't "always" have issues. Don't generalize like that. Just because some do doesn't mean it's a "middle child" thing. I know plenty of oldest AND youngest kids that are immoral and irresponsible, but I know plenty that aren't

I'm an oldest child personally, but my boyfriend is a middle child and he is waaaay more responsible, moral, and dignified than his older and younger sisters. He's the only one doing anything with his life (steady job, car, life plans, etc). My best friend since Kindergarten is an honors student in Philadephia Biblical University and is the most moral and dignified person I've ever met, and he's a middle child.

I have an older sister who has slept with married men, cheated on her first husband, has divorced and remarried and has kids that are uncontrollable at times. My younger sister is underage and drinks and parties, pays bills when she feels like it and only comes around to see family when she needs money.

Now me, the no moral middle child, spent her high school years taking extra 5 point courses and working almost every night after school. I've traveled abroad, have a marriage and a beautiful son and unfortunately, I've already dealt with cancer in my 25 years on this Earth. What a corrupt life I've lived in comparison...

i don't think of one must be above the different even nonetheless that's certainly important to discover time for the two. maximum mom and father tend to ignore their companion after their childrens are born and it has consistently been their baby's desires above their companion. hence, they don't spend high quality time with their spouses and finally end up with a marriag that lacks communique and love. attempt to strike a stability and manage for a weekly date night which contain your companion to confirm that spark is saved alive!

because their parents are either to busy with the baby or to busy being proud of the elderly sibbling...

since the middle child is being ignored the kid would do anything to receive attention

middle kids don't "always" have issues. the ones that do have issues, usally have those issues stem from the parents. children learn from what they see and what they feel at home.
