you don't need the car seat on the train, but you can call and ask the train station just to be sure. now I took my son when he was 9 months old on a train and they told me that I didn't have to use his car seat but I can if I wanted to.

it depends how long are you going to be on the train? if it's only a few hours then the baby bjorn should be okay, but if longer i'd dag the car seat along so you don't have to hold the baby the whole time. It can get pretty uncomfortable.

Yes you need to use a car seat on a train or any type of vehicle you ride in. You need to make sure to face the front of the train though so the car seat is rear-facing still. Have fun on your trip!

you can use the bjorn...it would be alot easier...unless you are going somewhere that you would need to use a car seat...but you can still take it with you and let him/her sleep in the bjorn

if you are traveling by amtrak you do not need to use a carseat, you can use your baby bjorn or just hold your baby for the price of one ticket, but if you want to use your car seat you will have to purchase another ticket just for your baby. this also goes for traveling by greyhound bus.
