No, it is the sin of simony to sell an object with holy powers, such as the relic of a saint.

Yes, but remember that the bilble is the most printed book of all time. And, rosery beads and crap like that are cheap knockoffs. I'm a big favor in calling up a local newspaper and telling the reporter that it has some sort of supernatural powers. Like, after you bought aforementioned relic, the walls started to glow and the lights began to shake. Take the reporter to the room where it happened, and cite water stains and broken glass on the floor as proof of god's wrath. Save the article and sell it on ebay. Make sure you list it as a "Catholic" relic. The other branches of Christianity are less marketable since they're not shrouded in as much fear/hypocrisy.

some are made out of gold - and anything old is considered an antique so so would a religious relic.

If someone can sell a potato chip that supposedly has the image of the Virgin Mary on eBay for $10,000, then I imagine that genuine artifacts would be worth quite a bit.
Best wishes.

Certainly people have been selling pieces of the cross for thousands of years.. They could make tons of crosses from all the pieces.. Lots of money to be made..
