personally i do not believe in god. but if he/she does exist then i would have to say that he/she is all powerful and an asshole. the reason i say this is because he is an egomaniac. in most religions the "god" created humans to worship him and if they dont do this then they are sent to hell. the whole problem that i have with the concept of heaven and hell is that if "god" is all powerful then why would he/she create someone that will ultimatly create hell. he would have to be a retard to do so. and also if he/she is all powerful then why would he/she have to send his son to die. if he wanted to he could just do anything he wanted. and if god really exist why hasnt he/she given us definite proof that he/she really exists. religions are saying to believe in him/her and have faith but if you are gonna say something exists and not offer any supporting evidence than that is ludicrous . you might as well believe in zeus or or poseiden since all religions can not prove that their gods exist anymore then the gods of the romans or greeks. their is more evidence that vampires or werewolves exist than a god. for a rational human being it is hard to even believe in something that you cannot feel, hear, see, smell, or taste, also the fact that if you live ur live in a decent way according to most religions it doesnt matter. since u did not attend a church and give money to human beings u are as guilty as someone that raped and murdered someone. since u both havent attended church your level of sins is the same. i cant understand how a rapist has the same level of sin as a decent person who has lived their live but havent attended church services. organized religions are for weak-minded people that cant accept the fact that things happen at random and that their isn't someone looking down and watching out for them. anyone that thinks they can answer some of the numerous questions i have can e-mail me. also i find it amazing how many people actually take the words of the bible at face value. after the countless translations it has been through and not to mention that many of the books of the bible have actually not been included in the bible because the humans that are the leaders of organized religion felt that they were not appropriate and lastly if god has been around forever then what caused him to one day create a universe and people and animals and planets. science has proved that the idea that a god created everything is false. since there have been numerous new species that have evolved from existing species. if he created everything then how are there new species of animals.

We were created to have a close relationship with our Creator. Adam/Eve screwed that up when they chose to do what God had said NOT to do. God created us with the freedom to choose. If we choose to love Him, it is truly love - not coerced, or forced, or dictated. If we choose not to want anything to do with Him, He will respect that decision. However, to reject His offer of a relationship with Him, thru the forgiveness provided by Christ's sacrifice, means that we choose the other alternative - eternity without Him. That is Hell. He makes the rules (after all, He is entitled to!), we make the choice. I'd say that's fair.
Yes, He is all-loving, all-powerful - and all-just. Would it be just to not provide a consequence for what is evil/sin? We are all guilty of not living a perfect life, and we can't possibly do it all on our own - we simply can't! God is completely loving and good and perfect, and cannot/will not tolerate sin/evil in ANY size, shape or form (otherwise He would not be all perfect, would He? So how does He get around this problem of our imperfection? He gives His Son to take the punishment we deserve, and offers us a free pardon if we accept the Christ paid with His life for what we justly deserve. Hey, it's FREE! It is as if the judge was about to pronounce the death sentence , and his own son offered to step in and take the punishment instead of the criminal who justly deserved it. Yes, He is being just in demanding we pay the penalty - He wouldn't be just if He didn't, now, would He?
So that's why He is being loving, fair and just by giving us the freedom to choose. The ball is in our court.

Wrong on both counts.
"For God loved the world so much..." - John 3:16-17. See also, Romans 5:8, and Isaiah 59:1-2.
People go to hell for sins they did not repent for because they saw no need in it. In other words, they did not see themselves as sinners (opposite of what the Bible says - Romans 3:12 and Romans 3:23), so even with their dying breath, they *still* choose to reject his Son; a person's only escape *from* hell.
There is also another verse where Jesus said that "the world's sin is unbelief in me."
I cannot recall it at the moment, but if I can, I will leave it in this post, or in an email for you, so that you can read it for yourself.
Does that help to clear up things for you, at least a little bit? If not, please feel free to email me, and I will try and explain it more clearly.

God IS all-powerful and all-loving, but that doesn't have anything to do with whether or not a person's soul goes to heaven or hell.
GOD IS LOVE!!! He is our Heavenly Father; He loves us, and just like our earthly father, He wants us to love Him back. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, those of us who believe and accept God's only son, Jesus, as our personal Savior, who died and rose again to pay for our sins, have chosen eternal life in Heaven with Him. (This doesn't make us perfect, or holier or better than anyone. This makes us Children of God. We will still always sin; we will still always need forgiveness)
BUT God created people with a Free Will. When people turn their back on Jesus and don't accept Him, God doesn't stop loving them. He doesn't want them to be lost to hell. Up until the very moment that person draws their last breath, God yearns for them to change their heart and accept Jesus. If that person chooses NOT to accept Jesus and eternal life in heaven, then God simply gives them over to their own free choice, which is eternal damnation in hell.
So you see... the person rejected God; God didn't reject the person.

In God there is no sin, there is no darkness there is nothing bad.
The wages of sin are death.
Death is not just departing from your body, but being parted from God.
Adam was created and told to subdue (own) the world and all that was in it, and to be fruitful and multiply (to produce offspring that would cover all the earth).
When he sinned God cursed him, his seed (his children) and the all the world (rocks water sky animals vegitation). God gave him that option, telling him that when he ate he would die (be separate from God) and all that he had been given would pass into the hands of the devil. Or that the devil would become his lord.
In the old covenant the only way to pay penence for their sins was to provide burnt offerings, either grain and harvested fruits, or animals. This was all temporary until the Son of God would come and forever forgive all man kind.
When Jesus died he paid the price for allllllll sin, before, after, durring... whatever, for EVERY person, before, durring and after.
but God doesnt take away our free will. He still provided the option. Believe in Jesus and be reconsiled to the Father, or, refuse him and remain cursed.
God doesnt send people to hell, He tries through out their whole lives (the bible says even the earth and its creatures are a testiment to his truths) to convince them to come to him and be spared hell.
People go to hell on the sin they were forgiven for, but didnt recieve that forgivness for. Its a very very very sad thing. But God will never make a person love him, or make a person want to follow him. He doesnt want to control someone, any more than you want to MAKE someone love you although he really doesnt.

God is not mean and He is not powerless. As the matter of fact, He is the opposite: He is a Good God and He is the most powerful of all, since He creates all of us.
He does not want people to burn in hell. Satan is.
God wants us to go to heaven, that is why He sent His Son so that we can be redeemed from our sins and get out from the traps of the evil one.
All-loving does not equal to weak. As the matter of fact, it is the strongest quality on earth because it is the hardest humans can do. What kind of power that can give you peace of heart, that can liberate you from all sadness? Money? Popularity? Beauty? Intelligence? No. It is love.
God can liberate humans from demonic attacks or even demonic possessions through the blood of Jesus.
Remember Him.

I'm not too religious, but God gives people free will. That means people make the choices they do and have to suffer te consequences. Is ther really a hell, who knows,Is there really a God,who knows. But if we could all get along with each other, and be tolerant, like most religions teach, except for Islam which says kill all unbelievers, the world would be a good place.

Neither. God does not allow people to go to hell. John 3:16 says " For God so LOVED the world that he GAVE his one and only Son, that WHOEVER BELIEVES in him SHALL NOT perish but have eternal life." The key word in this verse is believe. You must believe and confess that Jesus Christ is the only, true and living God in order to be saved. That is the only thing we are required to do. Anyone who chooses (accepting Christ is a conscious choice) not to do this will not have eternal life.

"It' just God's.....PSYCH! Just kidding.
The answer is still neither, not because God is mean or loving. For almost any religion you examine, God (or whichever deity you cosider) allows people the supreme gift of good will. It is up to the individual to use the free will to choose either for good or evil in their words and actions. According to most Christian faiths, God will forgive sins as long as the sinner chooses to ask for and accept forgiveness. As a father, I know I want my children to do well and to be good people, but I also know that there will come a time when they will get to make their own choices, and it is my job to prepare them for that time. Religion's primary legacy to humanity is that it imparts a sense of right and wrong on issues, by which people can then judge others and themselves.
That said, God is all-powerful and all-loving, and he loves people enough to trust us with our decisions, just like I will learn to trust my children when they are grown. If I did not allow my children to grow and make their own choices, well, that would be mean and weak of me, wouldn't it?

God has already rescued you. When Jesus was crucified you were reconcilled with God and therefore can have the opportunity to have a direct relationship with Him.
Now, here is the interesting point, YOU are given a choice. YES GIVEN A CHOICE. You can go to God and follow Him or you can turn away and God will remove His influence on you. You can follow your oun fleshly desires and therefore not follow God.
Remember your choice is YOURS and not God's. God already chose to reconcile you to Him. Now it is You who must come back to God so that you may go to heaven.
Lastly, God will cry for you because of the choice you have made. He will place people in front of you if YOU are receptive to those people. If you turn away then God, gives you that opportunity to go and do as YOU wish.
Remember what YOU do is a choice. What God did was also a choice. He chose to bring you home to Him, now you have to choose. God or Not...
