I'm a college graduate. I wanted to quit school plenty of times but I had my family and friends cheering me on. I never gave up and finally got my Bachelor's degree in 5 1/2 years. Real life is no fun either. You never make enough money and even though you have a degree it's hard to find work in the field you want. Just focus on the fact that one more day of school leads to one more day towards graduation. Also, I took a fun class here and there to help make college fun. I usually made it an elective that satisfied my requirements. Good luck!

I remind myself that once I'm done studying, and generally not having very many responsibilities, that I will be suddenly thrust into the "real world" where I will have to pay even more bills than I have now, have less fun than I'm having now, and generally just suck it all up like a big f'n yuppie.
Of course, all while pretending that I actually agree with the society that I live in, and it's supposed "standards" of how I should be leading my life.

I am back in college after working, trust me the prospect of working for the next 30+years should make you appreciate college.
When you are on call 24-7 and your employer says that it is part of your job and you are mandated to work OT without compensation, when you work holidays and weekends because some one says so. Then the boss gets a raise and a promotion for managing your life so well (he does not work OT or weekends) you will appreciate college.

I'm in a summer internship and it's given me enough of a serving of the real world to really enjoy going back to school in the fall. It gets exhausting doing the same thing all day!

Ever hear of career students?
Everytime I get the feeling I've been in college to long, I remember those coal miners, assembly line workers, and 80 year old wal-mart greeters. Then I sit back in my air conditioned dorm room, crack open my politcal science book, and smile. :)
