dogs sometimes chew grass because of upset stomachs. they can tell between harmful and helpful grass which will settle their stomach. dont worry to much, your dog will know which grasses to eat. :)

not so fast -- if the grass is fertile, they eat it cause it tastes good to them -- and yes iut makes them throw up on occassion but it is natural for a dog to eat grass even when their stomach is not upset...remember they have very differnet taste than us...but don't let them eat too much grass or it can be dangerous.
