If you are going to use the bands so the beads stay in place, put a piece of foil on the hair so the braid does not come out of place, loop a band through the bead, slide the bead through the foil, take the foil off the braid, fold up a piece of hair over the bead (not a lot just enough to hold the bead in place), and place the band over the hair so the bead does not come out of place.
It sounds hard but it really is not.

This will not make your hair come out unless you pull the bead off instead of taking off the band first.

If you are talking about putting the band just around the hair..you can do this just as though the beads were not on the hair.

dont use rubberbands use the small donuts. rubber bands tends to break the hair. place on the hair the same way if you did not have beads.

use the fabric covered elastics that dont have the little metal piece so they are nicer to your hair and the braids. you should be able to use them on your hair just as if the braids weren't there. just go slowly.
