No, Bush is not Christ-like, nor does he show any of the fruits of the spirit.

pegacita: Bush was not elected to represent God for our nation, he was elected to do what is best for ALL of us. The ruin this administration will leave will take generations to correct. I think he will be required to answer for tens of thousands of deaths. The number of dead soldiers will clime to over 3,000 long before anybody figures out how to get us out of Iraq.

If you will know a chirstian by the fruits ... and the fruits are love, joy, peace, long suffering, etc. then George is not making the cut.

I'm sorry you think of him as a great religious leader. It breaks my heart that you are one of the few left that think he is even remotely a good man. He is either evil or stupid and his administration is evil incarnate. Liars shall have their part in the lake of fire. This administration lies more and hurts more people with their lies than any other in my lifetime.

Yes and no. I think yes, this is probably how a Christian WOULD act but not how a Christian SHOULD act.

Then again, I'm not a Christian anymore, even though I was for 18 years. I think there are a lot of things with Christianity that I think are immoral in my eyes. Not by religious standards but by humanity standards.

George W. Bush is a liar, a cheat, a swindler, a con-man and a murderer. So the answer is, " YES ", of course he's a Christian.

Where do I begin? I love the republican contradictions.... Right to life/Support the death penalty....You can't kill an embryo/but you can kill my son or daughter 18 years later... Mission Accomplished/Must stay the course....Gays can pay income tax/Not marriage license fees... Mexicans good enough to cut the lawn/but not live next door.
Would you want to sit next to this in church? Don't you think if George W. Bush believed in Heaven the U.S. would have invaded it by now? Jesus called...He said he has no nukes!

I'm thinking no. Being a Christian means being Christ-like. And I think Bush's behavior is far from that.

Only God knows if anyone is a true Christian.
If us mere mortals want to know, we look at fruit.
When I see that he hasn't strayed off his Christian walk for many years, I believe he is. I see a man who isn't ashamed of his faith. I see a man who is trying to do a job and isn't worried about what men think, but what God thinks. I see him answering to God in his actions. I see him being humbled by simple things. I would venture to guess that if the rapture happens....America will be without a leader.

A real Christ-ian is a follower of "Christ": "the end of the law". GWB is opposite, an "antichrist", or anti-"the end of the law".

GWB: there will be sacrifice(slaughter)
Bible: "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice"

GWB: America is a nation under law
Bible: "ye are not under the law, but under grace"

GWB: I'll take my rule of law global in next four yrs
Bible: "whether prophecies, they shall fail"

Obviously "false Christs shall arise" make false Christians.

Not to mention Moses' law was a "great terror"-ist (Deut 34:12), which is why people in other nations consider GWB a terrorist.

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
