I just had a baby a few weeks ago and am extremely happy to be home with him. When i do things around the house or go places i went normaly before i had my baby, i feel weird and like something is out of place. I know this is a big change for me and my life but why am i feeling like im a whole different person, and why do i feel out of place?

It's completely normal to feel a little different. All moms have gone through it one time or another. You were used to just taking care of you and here you are pushing a stroller giving all your attention to someone else. Once you get through the first couple of months, you'll get used to it. Just don't let the change get you down. I wish you well.

Well like you said you are a "New Mom."..this is a little concerning to me though..do you have enough support at home with caring for you and the baby?..or is this all on you?..you need your time and also time to bond with your baby.there is such as thing as post par tum depression..I am not implying this is the case..but you just had a baby, your hormone are getting back into place..you have a big responsibility and if this is your first baby this is very new to you and I am sure you are having normal questions and feelings about this new responsibility in your life..have a talk with one your friends that you can identify with maybe they can help you and of course if you find you don't have one to talk with call your doctor and talk with..it will help you and in turn help you care for your new baby..good luck...

My baby is four months old so I know exactly what you are talking about. I felt weird going to the store or anywhere with her. People look at you different and you are different. You have a constant companion now and it takes some getting used too. Its normal to feel that way. It will go away over time.

Welcome to the club, mama. You are a brand spanking new woman! What is out of place now will feel very normal soon enough. Being a new mommy is a huge adjustment. Just give it time. Soon you won't even remember a life with out your baby in it.

because before all you had to think about was yourself and you didnt have another little being to take care of and remember things for...you gotta know that you are a whole different person...your a mommy now and you have someone to raise and look up to you and love on you

It's a HUGE transition. HUGE. If it turns to sadness, you be having some post-partum depression. Just be aware of your body. Listen to what it tells you. Dont be afraid to ask for help. Its always here.
