Yes, if you use extra-lean ground beef, whole wheat buns, fresh vegetable toppings and no fatty/sugary condiments (like mayo or ketchup).

If you eat the best food available, low carbs, good protein, drink plenty of fluids but lead a sedentary life (have a desk job) and never exercise, you'll get fat.
If you eat more than the recommended 2000 calories a day for an adult and include stuff that's really not the best for you (maybe burgerking or mcd's 3-4x a week) but you burn up way more than you take in, leading a very active lifestyle, you'll be slender.

True it does depend on what's in them. Burger King, McDs, Jack in the Box all that. While good tasting probably aren't the most healthy. Try making somehting on the grill and put some veggies on it or try a veggie burger. It may not taste the same or quite as good but the end result is healthier and still taste good.

Hamburgers can be somewhat healthy if you use extra lean meat. At most grocery stores you can find 93% fat free meat. Also try a buffalo or turkey burger, they are healthier and are pretty darn good.

They are if you make them from lean ground beef and watch the types of condiments you put on them. Fast food hamburgers are full of grease and fat.

It depends on who you're asking.
Some doctors will say that they're not UNHEALTHY, as long as you use meat that is low in fat. Others will say that too much red meat is bad, in general, regardless of the fat content.
Ask your doctor to see what he thinks would be right for you.
