I've never made this recipe, and it doesn't say in the book.

Yes or the crust will get too brown....uncover the last 20 to 30 minutes in the end until brown.

I've never made it either, but I remember when I was little, my mother would cover the edges of it in foil. Know what I mean ? Like, make a ring around the top of the cobbler and about an inch and half in width. I looked it up and it says everywhere I read that you bake it uncovered.

I wouldn't. It's supposed to be brown and bubbling, that's the best part of a cobbler! Use the correct time and oven temperature that the recipe states.

cover it only if the crust is brown, but hasn't finished cooking.
