the real question is why does everthing taste like chicken?

Because it's not as weird as eating something that tastes like chicken, and it would be too boring to come up with a question for it in Yahoo! Answers.

It is because they haven't the proper repertoir of words so instead of saying that alligator meat tastes like alligator, most people have eaten chicken and know what it tastes like so they just equate the alligator to chicken. I have eaten brains and they didn't taste like chicken or squid or pork, they tasted like brains.

What is the fun in that? No way I can brag about the snake, squirll, iguana, chihuahua, or squab, if i just went for chicken. That and U.S. chicken is extremely bland. It tastes like everything. try free range chicken.

Because you only live once, and by trying new foods, you might find out that you like them.Froglegs, alligator, are really good to eat, as long as it is prepared the right way.
