The question is that after sitting a while it is very difficult for him to get up. And he says the problem is in his veins behind the Knee. Can you please help.

He's normal, but still get him checked out, it's a blessing to even live that long.

He probably needs to walk a bit each day. But he could also be having circulatory issues. (which can be used to predict heart trouble or stroke) so make sure he is getting regular care. and take a first aid class so that if he is in trouble you know what the signs are, in advance and are prepared to help.

When i say advanced signs I mean stuff like slurred speech clamminess, partial paralyzation, jaw pain, upper back pain...being able to recognize signs like these can give you one thing basic CPR can't...TIME...and time can mean recovery and healing, and add a few more years with your grandfather (a lot can come out of those classes that are free in most areas).

not much you can do for old age my dad was 85 and he was a little slow getting aroud

my grandfther is like that too and we found out ten years ago or so that he had a disease called MS go to the doctor!!!!!!!!!!
