What do you mean by offensive my good man? The Kamikazes became (in)famous to us Westerners (and any easterners who know the Japanese) because they had such devotion to their country and emperor that they would fight to the death even if the US was far more powerful in terms of technology and almost as impressive in courage. The terrorists however do not have this devotion other than a fantical hatred which defies sanity. And by the way...the Kamikazes tried to take down military ships, not innocents. So the answer to your final question is no...the terrorists do not deserve to be called Kamikaze. Lunatic or Madmen is a better alternative.

The Kamikazes of WWII fame dove their planes into american carriers to try and sink them. Sometimes they got lucky, but Japan still fell. The Kamikazes were desperate men, high on drugs and ready to give their lives for the emperor. Well, that much they did, but Japan still lost in WWII. Eventually, all the arabs doing this stuff will die, too..

Kamikaze did never attack a private citizen.
They threw themselves into a battleship of the enemy.
