I met this guy online in last September 05 who told me he would conquer my heart . I was not sure about this whole online dating stuff. But i wanted to give it a try and now i feel like a fool. He was calling me almost everyday, sending poems. We got pretty good along together and i begun to fall for him. It took me time to drop my guard down and when i finally did, he is now acting like a jerk. He wanted me to marry him and to join him in the USA. After long hesitation i decided last April 06 to visit him for a week. Everything went well. It was not all good but not all bad. I found out during my stay that he was still married but separated. He served me the excuse that he did not share this major information with me because he did not want me to worry about any detail. He was thoughful and sweet all along my visit but when i return to Belgium he totally changed and is very distant. No more calling , letters.. And i am to proud to call to have a good talk. What should i do to move on?

Move on. If you call, you could find out if he is back with or has even ever really left his wife. Did he show you a legal document stating that he had a separation? Even still, there is still the option for reconciliation with the system after both parties signing a legal separation. If you want closure, call. Who cares...you didn't do anything wrong. He may have just returned to his wife and is too much of a chicken sh*** to tell you. There are a number of reasons, but you can either always wonder, or find out. Just don't try to get together with him. His life is too complicated right now anyways. It is not worth your time to waste it on a situation like this.

I'm sorry. My daughter was talking on line to a soldier stationed in the United States and he led her on too. Unfortunately she would not listen to me. Move on and find a nice guy.

first off when you went to visit him did you sleep with him? i will awnser that for you.... yeah you did and now he has a trophy to brag about. you can probably forget about ever hearing from him again. i am a soldier in the united states army and yeah i know about these things. sorry.

he has played you with not being honest. forget this and take it as lessons learned. move on
