If you had a million dollars, regardless I knew you or not, how can I ever take it from you??

I wouldn't refuse it if you were offering, but if that million left you dead broke what would be the point of giving it.
I would use it to buy a huge lot of land and start building houses, for every two I build and sell I would donate one to a homeless family (selling the other two to keep the program going).

If the whole family was starving and being evicted I might take a little of it, but usually no.
