GOOD GRIEF,people!!!. She's talking about TERRIER RACING!!! What cave have you been hiding in???
Training...well,they will or they won't. If you stand by the fence-dog FIRMLY in hand!!!so it can SEE but NOT escape- & let it watch,they'll often turn on.
At home,practice wearing the muzzle. You won't be allowed to race w/out it. Drag lure & praise when he follows. Let him "win" by catching it once in a while.
Enlist neighborhood kids to RUN w/a lure while you restrain dog??? LOL!!

A Jack Russell dog is a Terrier not a racing dog at all

It takes lots of time. You have to run the dog everyday. you might want to look at some books or check online. Its not the eaisiest thing to do. not only does the dog have to work hard but u do to. It takes time and paitence.
