If you've tried everything..creams etc, erythromycin and antibiotic given in a low dose....you take 1 a day for 6 months and they go away in the long term, in between you can still use the creams, however this is a long term solution to acne. I tried it in my teens and it was the only thing that worked for me. See your g.p. about getting this on prescription.

Get a needle, sterolyse it before you pop anything. Dettol should do the job. Then, pop the spot with the needle.

Then you squeeze all the ooze, slime and gunk out of the zit (which is always a tad painful). Clean the broken zip and needle again and then poke the needle in again.

Not too much, just enough to get the root of the zit. If you destroy the root, you'll destroy the zit.

Dettol will sting for a bit but it'll stop the infection. Just don't use too much and, for the love of God, don't put it near your eyes or mouth or any other orifice.

Be sensible and be patient.

Don't wear make up if the problem is too big. Make up is grubby and even when you take it off, there can still be traces left behind. Fresh air and lots of water should do the job.

A lot of people find that stress causes zits. If it's stress, then wait for it to pass.

Patience and the will and knowledge to make it stop will always help.

You're not the only one with spots and rest assured, no one will care if you haave them. Trust me, we've all been there.

There isn't a quick way to get rid of spots.

Treatments only induce new spots to appear after a while. It's how they manage to justify telling peope that they need it to clear up their spots.

Think about it; if there really was something on the market to clear up your spots, you wouldn't have spots, would you?

These products will never clear up your spots, and these people know it. They just want to persuade you to keep buying their pathetically useless product.

Wash regularly with warm water and a little soap, rinsing thoroughly - and try to avoid the moisturisers, they just add more oil to your skin that will all add up to giving you even more spots, and you can pretty much guarantee that the people who sell you the spot treatment are the same people who sell you the moisturiser.

Everyone always says not to squeeze them, but if you're careful and keep your nails short and don't draw blood, then doing that plus a generous application of Tea Tree oil afterwards works wonders! Keeping your face clean with an ordinary mild soap and warm water will also help. Don't (I'm assuming here you're a girl!) wear make up unless you need to or you'll clog the pores even more. Of at least give your face a break from grease and powder for a day, perhaps at a weekend.

Works for me!

we have all had this problem, sometime in our lives ! wash with a non perfumed soap. you have to use some sort of soap as this rids you of all the oil your glands are producing in your teen years and after. simple soap is good, and dove sensitive. dont use anything with perfume. never squeeze them as this will cause them to spread. use sudocrem cream very thinly over the spots. this cream is brilliant for spots rashes, anything to do with skin problems. ive recommended it in lots of answers

Freederm, ten pounds for a tube that lasts for ages, I am never without one and it has really, really worked. Propolis cream is good as well, but the Freederm reduces them to nothing, in a day or so.

try a cucumber mixture, its like a face cleanser anyway, mash some cucumber up, i tend to mix a little with juice of limes, then smooth it on your face and leave on for half an hour then wash off with water, then hopefully within a day or so you should find the pores easing off.

I had a dog named "Spot" and we didn't feed him for awhile. He moved in with the neighbors down the street because they feed him. He hasn't been back since. Stop feeding Spot and you'll get rid of him.
