At least you're asking the question...so there's hope for you yet and I won't use my toad/frog spell on you.
First, you are not the center of the universe.
Next, your language is not the only one spoken on the planet.
Next, realize there are morons all over the world who have never left their local and think "foreigners" are either dumb, hate them or their language or their culture.
In short...visit this tiny planet in different places, and expand your world tremendously. We really all have more in common than the differences

I think it's really hard to say whether or not your own language 'sounds good'. You're so entirely used to it, you can't just listen to the sounds the same way you can when you listen to a foreign language that you do not understand. I think the closest you can get to deciding whether or not your language sounds good is by listening to its closest relative - that is, a language that is from the same family and sounds very similar. For instance, if you want to have a good idea of what English sounds like to a foreigner, you could listen to Frisian. Frisian is a germanic language along with English German and Dutch to name a few, but it is the closest to English.
In terms of other languages sounding like gibberish... that's just because you don't understand them, you don't process the words the same way you do when you listen to English. I'd hardly say that every language sounds the same though. I don't speak Spanish or German, but I know that when I hear them, I can tell them apart. I might be able to understand some words in Spanish, because I speak French and these two languages are related... but I can't make out much more than a word here and there so I guess it would mean just as much to me as listening to gibberish would, ah ha.

WE're used to hearing things in our own language. When we hear a foreign language we don't recognize the sounds so we don't understand.
Personnally, I love foreign languages, I think it sounds cool.
