Give him or her some vitamins since the kitty don't want to eat. You can buy them at any pet store. Go to a petstore and ask them what should you do.

I have had a couple of those...(strays i find and take home!) I always used to take a warm washcloth and rub it over her eyes to clean them. If she is only 4 weeks old she is still used to mom doing everything probably. I would go to a store like Wal-Mart and pick up some premixed milk and a small bottle....Maybe then she will eat a little bit. That milk also has vitamins in it so it should help out a lot.....if she is constantly meowing i always used to get a heating pad and put a baby blanket on it and put them on it. But make sure the heating pad isn't turned up too high....it will burn her delicate skin. It is probably scared of all the noises because it is a new place for her and it may have had a few run ins with some other animals outside. But as soon as you can get her into a vet i would do so....Good luck and let us know how she is doing!!!

The kitten is probably in shock, and it is probably meowing either because it's in pain or because it's searching for its mother. If you wanted to help the kitten until you could get it to the vet, give it a nice warm gentle bath, but do it very carefully. Dry the kitten thoroughly so as not to give it chills or get it sicker. Make a very soft, comfortable bed for it. Put a ticking clock underneath a blanket in the bed, to soothe it (the ticking reminds it of its mother's heartbeat). Feed it with a baby bottle, using milk. A one-month-old kitten hasn't been weaned yet, and it can only eat by nursing. A baby bottle will simulate its mother's nipple. If you can't get it to eat that way, use an eye dropper, putting it as far back in the kitten's mouth as you can without choking the kitten, and put the milk down its throat. Keep the environment quiet, without any loud noises or sudden movements. Make sure the kitten stays warm at all times. Pet it very gently and try to use reassuring noises.

I would suggest giving the kitty some milk you get from a pet store, or maybe even the pet area in Walmart. If you need to, you might want to get an eyedropper and put small drops of milk / water in it's mouth. You could also get colloidal silver and clean it's eyes (even putting drops inside it's eye). You will find this at some health food stores and some grocery stores carry it. Walmart does not, as far as I know. The I would suggest getting it to either a vet, if you plan on keeping it or to the Humane Society. Good Luck !!

OK, I would say TAKE IT TO THE VET but, in your case no vets are open.Did you try Animal Hospitals? If not try to contact one.Look in the phone book.I know of a Reilly good Animal Hospital In No vie? Are you anywhere Nerte there? I think they are open 24 hours. O and to warn you keep it away from other animals. It could have a Reilly serious Desi's that can spread FAST! dint handle it to much, If you have some cat food crush it up and add a tiny bit of water to it. Give the kitten that and fresh water .1 of you stay to watch it while the other tries to phone the hospital TRY it! PS.I wish you good luck!

you may have to make up some kind of formula and hand feed this cat....
not sure if it is weaned.......
there are alot of cat web sites up there with instructions on how to care to ferel kitten...
I think cat is hungry and scared....
http://www.feralcat.com/raising.html
see if you can't get instructions to hand feed and try that.
from ferel cat.com
WEANING
If necessary, you may begin weaning the kitten at 4 weeks of age. Start by feeding it formula in a bowl. Then gradually introduce solid food. Strained baby food or Hill's brand "a/d" in a can works well. Or you can moisten dry kitten food with formula or water. Don't expect the kitten to be weaned overnight. As it eats more often from the bowl, reduce the bottle feedings.
Canned kitten food can also be used to introduce the kitten to solid food. Young kittens cannot chew dry kitten food without moistening. Check instructions on the container. Try to buy high quality food for the kittens (from the vet or pet food stores). Much of what is sold in supermarkets is pure junk food and may not help your kitten thrive.
four weeks old.... young kitten.

Poor baby!
Well, yes, she is VERY sick from what you say. She also sounds like she's half wild or has been abused. You'll need to put her in a box with some soft things for a nest, and leave a little water and soft food with her. And wipe her face with a damp cloth once in a while. Wash your hands after handling her, and get her to a vet ASAP.
Also, many vets do have emergency numbers.
Good luck!

There is not an emergency animal hospital in your area? Anyway maybe the reason that it wont eat and stop meowing is because is scared. Try finding milk specially for cats(they come in cans I have seen them even in Waltmart). Is there a petsmart in your area? you could ask them for info there too. Keep him warm, make a nest for him. Good luck

Put a hand towel in the microwave for 25 seconds. Lay it down on the floor and put the kitten on it. Try to get it to a veterinarian as soon as possible.

I know you said you can't find a vet, but do you have any 24 hour emergency pet places? We have them here and that seems to be the only option for pets who get sick on the weekend. Look into it.
