Kansas City Steak refers to the thick cut that is meatier than your typical supermarket packaged cut of beef. You can get a comparable cut by requesting a butcher's cut behind the meat counter at the supermarket or butcher's market.

Angus steaks refers to a breed of cattle bred specifically to be butchered as opposed to milk producers. Typically the young male calf is castrated so his growth is enhanced rather than developing sex organs for breeding.

Kobe steaks refer to a specially bred and raised cattle that are world reknowned for their deep marbling and subsequent juicy flavor. The cattle are grain and beer fed in stalls and receive massages. Quite frankly, they are pampered!! This breed is also raised in Australia but with far less attentive care but marketed under a different brand, Wagyu beef I think?

Actually Angus is a specific type of beef, as is Kobe (Kobe being the very expensive Asian beef that's pretty much a delicacy in the US). Kansas City cut must be a special cut of steak.
