Hair grows about a 1/2" per month. However, your hair may never grow down to your hips. Every hair follicle cycles on and off. The hair grows for a while and then it falls out. The longest your hair can grow is a function of how long will an individual hair of yours grow before it cycles. It is different for everyone and defines the longest your hair can grow.

Well first of all it depends on YOU. I know some people who have hair that grows REALLY slow, but i also know people who have hair that grows REALLY fast. However, on average your hair grows about half an in. to 1in. every month.

About what you should eat for you hair to grow faster, personally, I dont buy into that stuff. Basically, all I know is that when you eat healthier your hair is healthier. Really!
