I have mistrust in him....because he kept this from me.....and continued to chat with her....I know its my own fear.....the way I feel is that if I am in a relationship I treat it as somewhat a marriage....with honesty, caring, loving .....being an open book not keeping things from one another.....maybe I am just to old fashion in my thinking along with much fear....

I VERY WELL UNDERSTAND YOUR FEARS AND DISTRUST OF HIM. HE GAVE YOU REASON TO FEEL THIS WAY. MY FIANCE IS IN NY AND I AM IN NJ. WHEN WE FIRST STARTED SEEING EACHOTHER I WAS VERY INSECURE, BUT AS I CAME TO KNOW HIM AND DEVELOP OPENESS AND COMMUNICATION , ALL OF THAT INSECURITY VANISHED. WE HAVE A VERY OPEN RELATIONSHIP; YOUR FEELINGS ARE RIGHT. I SAY IF A MAN OR WOMAN IS DOING RIGHT, THEN THEY HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE. SUSPECTING SOMEONE IS UP TO NO GOOD IS ONE THING, BUT SEEING IT WITH YOUR OWN EYES IS ANOTHER THING ENTIRELY. GO WITH YOUR GUT FEELING. IT SEEMS TO ME THINGS WERE NOT AS THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN. GOOD LUCK.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 6 years. We now live together and have a beautiful daughter. Our relationship started out as a long distance relationship, for 2 years. If I wouldn't have trusted him, or visa versa, we never would have lasted.

You need to be able to trust him or its not worth the stress in your life.

First of all, long distance relationships never work. Secondly, long distance relationships don't work.
