Get some crushed aspirin from your chemist, Redken shampoo from your local salon and an egg yolk. One teaspoon of crushed aspirin to a dollop of the finest shampoo you can buy, a great source of protein and very kind to hair - egg yolk. Mix it up, paste it on your head, roots only, and leave for 20 minutes. Lather up in the shower, and rinse off thoroughly. Use a Redken moisturiser if you can, and wait for the results. It's tried and tested hundreds of times, and it works I promise!
I have been a trichologist for 30 years and it was in my first years training, and I have used it ever since.

Mix 1/2 c apple cidar vinegar with 1/2 c water. Apply to your scalp. If it's really bad, do this daily for a week and then cut back to once a week or whenever you see flakes appearing again. Then use for a day or 2 and wait another week.

Always lather twice with your shampoo. Work up the first lather as soon as you step in the shower. Leave it on until your finished with your shower. Then rinse, and follow with your second lather and rinse again. Or you can try this-After you lather up put a shower cap on over your wet hair. Leave it on for an hour, then rinse as usual.
