Well speaking as a Heathen, I think it's like this: you're free to believe anything you want, as an american, there's no compulsory religion, although a lot of the country's christian, no one's going to point a gun at your head and force you to go to worship services. It likely has something to do with how you were raised, and what your philosophy in life is...
