I always put all of my bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, that kind of stuff in a ziplock bag. That way if one does pop open, you only have a few bottles to rinse off. Bring an extra ziplock bag just in case one does, and you'll have a clean one for on the way home.
Have a safe and fun-filled trip!

yeah - you can check them but I always put them in a zip lock bag because sometimes they do ooze and leak. Slightly loosening the caps can help since the air in the bottle will expand. Also, make sure the bottles are not completely full (3/4 full is better since it allows some space inside the bottle for expansion under pressure). Anything that you carry on board will be okay because the passenger cabin is pressurized. Bon Voyage

Hi, your sealed containers will be perfectly alright on flight. There is no likely chance of leak or imploding unless your aircraft had suffered an in-flight emergency that resulted in rapid de-compression. Otherwise, they will be fine.
if you are worried about possible leaks, just place the liquid/cream containers in separate plastic bags and this should protect your other belongings.

I've never had a problem with shampoo or conditioner (or any other product) leaking or imploding after I've checked it as luggage. However, if you're concerned about this happening, just put your bottles in plastic zip-loc baggies. Problem solved!

I do all 3! I squeeze out the air, wrap the tops with tape and dad them in a ziplock. often I even placed that for the time of yet yet another bag! Overkill? No, it fairly is particularly saved me some situations whilst they did leak. I had a foul checked bag leak and swore, on no account lower back! What a soreness... Tape the bottle suitable down, then circle the tape around the hollow. If it does leak, you purely throw out the ziplock and wash off the bottle. purely slightly will leak. i come across that those "commute" sizes are the worst for leaking. If I also have a visit coming up, i will take my own shampoo and whilst it gets right down to a small volume, I squeeze out the air and placed it aside. faster or later i will tape it up and bag it. whilst i flow away, i will use something up and chuck the finished field, leaving greater room in my bag. Taking a huge bottle isn't a huge deal if it would not weigh plenty. i will tell you that on an identical time as products are greater costly in Paris, you will discover maximum type names over right here. surprisingly the regular type shampoos and conditioners. you do no longer ought to load your luggage down if that's a protracted trip. deliver your own deoderant and in case you utilize dandruff shampoo with tar, it fairly is unlawful in Europe yet no person will word you're bringing your own (am I getting technical?) Their deo would not artwork too properly and that i will't discover my favourite toothpaste (Arm & Hammer). you are able to no longer purchase toddler oil right here in France. purchase it interior the gel type for commute (are you able to think of that leaking? yikes!) in case you have a particular product you like, deliver that. i take advantage of Seabreeze, which i will't get right here so I drag that lower back with me. when I commute, I placed it in a small steel spray bottle. much less probably to leak, by way of the way. makeup is small and trouble-free to p.c.. so I continuously deliver my own. some issues could desire to be relaxing to objective on an identical time as on your trip, like physique creams. there is physique save in France too, in case you utilize any of their products. are you able to tell I even have this right down to an artwork? After 18 years of residing out of the country and 13 of being a F/A, plus commute to surprisingly much 60 countries, I pay interest to what I do and don't deliver!!
