roads are good (compared to other places) and well illuminated. the driving is a bit hectic. but if youre from any big city (new york, dc, los angeles, etc.) you wont have much of a problem.

I was born in PR and I can tell you that the driving conditions are good but the drivers are bad. People are courteous but won't use their signal lights, they love speeding and the whole driving experience is a little wild, not just in the city but in the "campos" where the streets are very norrow and curvey, barely big enough for one car and they are two way streets. Just to tell you that most of the highway patrols are Mustangs 5.0, go figure.

very good. has many highways, expressways. since PR is a tropical country, weather conditions (days with sun, humidity, rain ) can affect roads and need constant pavement and care.
