Because God is an imaginary figure made up and worshipped by humans who cannot accept the fact that we are not perfect and therefore need another being to do what we want and have what we need in life.

We do not know what God's plan for us is in the life. Remember that this life is only a short time. As much as we love someone, God loves them more.

Jesus was worthy and had faith. We know he prayed the right way. Yet when he prayed in the garden what was the result? God did not spare him from the pain. God answers all prayers, but sometimes the answer is no. May his will be done.

I hate Cancer, too. If all the Cancer in the world could be taken away, I would be for it, for sure! My family has been hit HARD with cancer and we have said good by to many of our most beloved in the family. But it is HERE because of US. Cancer is just like any other disease. It is the consequences of our enviroment and genes. Everyone dies. We are supposed to die, sooner or later. God will not remove DEATH, because it is the consequence of Adam and Eve's sin in the garden. But we can over come death through His son, Jesus. We will still die physically, but we will NEVER die spiritually. Keep this in mind also, nothing is taken from you or someone you love, even the smallest baby who dies from Cancer can be restored 100X over on the other side with the Father. We lose many things here on this Earth. God will restore all things to His children.

Probably not. Many cancers are due to some sinful action on our part and may be punishment for that. Others are just due to the fallen world where we are not perfect. I see it as God's will. Sometimes God uses that pain to make us better.

The answer is (h) some other reason. "God" has already GIVEN US natural CURES for cancer. If people believe that "God" made the earth and all the herbs, why aren't they utilizing them? Why do they believe that doctors can do more for them than what "God" has created for them? Why do they trust a mere mortal and not "God"? Wheatgrass. Look it up. Essiac Tea. Look it up. (google) and if ya don't believe in "God" you can say the same thing but put Nature in it's place.

Do not test the lord your god,
My mother had cancer and she was healed, she prayed she believe and when doctors told her she only had 1 year to live, three different doctors and she went to live 25 years healed from cancer...because of her faith it never questioned or tested or swayed away from GOD.

Everything happens for a reason, but if it is God's will to heal someone, obviously he will

Everything happens for a reason, he'll do it if he wants to, maybe he gave some people cancer as punishment, and he's not ready to take it back.
