Is it possible for them to posses an inherent consciousness that exsists on a different wavelength(for lack of a better word) whereas it is not observible to human perception? For example from the naked eye it seems as though they do not move although they do just slowly enough that it is imperceptible, does it follow they exhibit their own form of reasoning that is completely imeasureable because it happens inside a different time frame?

No-consciousness implies knowledge of ones existence which implies the ability to reason-both imply a brain and to have that consciousness exist on a different wavelength were that real due to existing for such a long time for some even date back to dinosaur days I'm sure they would have by now figured out a way to survive on their own or seat up defenses so as not to be manipulated, changed, destroyed by man. Every living thing that has a consciousness-awareness of itself or oneself will also fight to live. Then it is aware of itself then would also be aware of its creator-God-then there'd also have to be a soul and so on and so on.

Yes. You're right. They move so slowly, that we just can't see it.

The flowers will always turn to face the sun if you move the plant and have the flowers facing away from the sun.

I saw a documentary a few years ago about this very contraversial subject.

They had set up tests with highly sophisticated machinery.

They used something like a bio feedback machine(Like the ones they use on people to measure speed of brain wave activity. They also used an EEG machine.(An electro encephalagram, that measures stimulus in the brain).

When they set a fire about 10 feet away from them, their brain waves went off the charts.

SOOOO! Obviously they DO have an awareness of things around them and emotions. To what degree? They haven't been able to determine that yet.

That is fascinating

Plants do perceive as infraviolet emotion the soft steps of animals close, as some aries, they seem to wander around responsing with no consciousness or allure to them, sad story. As a sleeping brother plants sure are sentient when pretend belong into their territory and profitting smell in honey. They sure will to move as seasons themselves, time elapses not but retrieves, even to us. Plants do pretend too they think as artropods and mammals, to know what to pretend next on being food, not useful. Nature spirits do sing and grow to them. They are seen when shown food.

Of course it's possible, just not likely. Plants don't need consciousness because they don't move around

they show no signs of consciousness and it wouldn't really help them much. Occam's razor says they don't.
animals on the other hand do
