It appears yours prayers did nothing since the 1 out of 20 cured is the normal remission rate. Not surprised, praying is nothing more than mental masturbation and does nothing more than make the person praying feel better. You could just as well use a wishing well, probably same success rate and it will take much less time.

I BELIEVE prayer doese work. I also believe that God has the power to heal that person if it is in his plan. Another thing is that God mad the med's and the doctors. He has the power to let the med's work or not. He is God no one else. I think med's only work because God allows them to work. God can also cure a person without using the med's he created. We are each assigned a time to die and God know when, where, and how. This doesn't mean that God doesn't care, but that he has a plan. I have see good things come out of people who have die with Cancer, I know it is a very sad thing, but I have see people beable to say there good byes and to fixs any past problems. It also allow them to help there family know where they are going when they die if the chose to give there life to God. PRAYER IS A POWERFUL THING. and it does work Never give up on prayer.

Did you know that sometimes there are hindrances to receiving a healing?
1. The number one hindrance to receiving miracles of any kind in our lives is the lack of forgiveness toward those who have offended us.
2.Sometimes one will not receive healing because they cannot or will not believe in God.
3.Sometimes people have a secret death wish
4.Also, there must be a prayer without doubt. James in the bible wrote that we should ask in Faith with out doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. (James 1:6 and 7
5. Sometimes one is not healed because there time on earth is up... If that person is a believer in Christ, then he enters into the ultimate healing- living with Christ in no more pain.......

Of course prayer works!!! lol. I'm currently reading "when Teens Pray" By Cheri Fuller. She also writes "when mothers pray. I really suggest you pick up the teen one, even if you aren't a teen. The book shows just how well prayer works in our lives. Hope this helps!!

Praying is not like a slot machine, that is, put in the "right" prayer and bang, you get what you want. Prayer is communication with God, expressing our desires and wishes, but He is omniscient and will allow or cause to happen whatever is good, whether we understand it or not. All prayers by believers are answered, sometimes yes, sometimes no, sometimes, wait. As C.S. Lewis put it, "Prayer doesn't change God, it changes me".

I know prayer works for cancer and other patients..My sister was terminal cancer with swollen liver and kidney. Her daughter was getting married and she wanted to witness the marriage. Her friends and their friends as well as strangers prayed for my sister. When she tried on her dress the day before the wedding, it could not zip up and her daughter had to change the shoes to a larger size. On my niece's wedding day the dress zipped up easily and the shoes fit.It was a miracle wrought by prayer!.She died a few weeks later. The pain she was experiencing was great; and we released her to God, whom she loved and served. I was with her for the last eight weeks of her life and know she found peace with God.After she coded twice in 45 min I knew that she had left us. I know people who have survived 20+ years with cancer; and many testify that it is through prayer and the grace/mercies of God.

Are you praying that people are healed, or are you praying so you can have a good prayer track record with positive statistics?

Check your motivation. You may be hurting the people you pray for.

if you had those rates say, oh I don't know, 40 years ago, then maybe. ask youself what science has been involved. drugs, surgery, physicians, etc. then ask what percentage of the remission would occur without those technologies. then you have your prayer rate. better luck next time kid. go away, you're bothering me now.

Does prayer work? Hundreds of millions prayed for God to stop Hitler, but God did nothing and 30 million+ died. Either God is heartless, powerless, both, or does not exist at all.
