These include, but are most certainly not limited to:

No bones from either horses or elephants, both mentioned in the Book of Mormon.

No foundries which may have produced those metalurgical items, such as steel, bronze, and coinage, all mentioned in the Book of Mormon.

Why they only meniton barley but not wheat, as that also was mentioned in the Book of Mormon in Mosiah 9.

These things would be preserved in the archaeological record. Why are they not in the new world for the periods of the Book of Mormon and why does the LDS church discount archaeology when it most definitely has provided for Biblical evidence?

Perhaps cause some will believe and follow anything that has a glimmer of hope?
Some systems of belief brainwash others into believing that they should not question anything about that religion, regardless of how ludicrous it may seem...
Perhaps they are hiding something...
An interesting thought, I suppose.
