reasons are to force yourself to not go to sleep at a normal hour (meaning instead to watch tv till late in the morning/ect)

remedy would be to go to bed early 10/11 pm then wake early also 10a earliest 12p latest and dont nap during the day

eventually this will become a habit

TOO much of something....stress, caffeine, work, worry, exercise. Find the excess and you MAY find the problem. Thyroid problems can also cause insomnia.

A lady aged 93 years told me that whenever she couldnt sleep she would ,in her mind, visit all the pubs in town. She was always asleep before she got to the last one. Its worth a try!

Get into a routine. Dont eat after 8pm. Drink a sleep inducing tea.

unresolved issues try to resolves themselves in the semi conscious mind..causing a person not to sleep...a bit like listening to a radio in the head

stress, bad diet eg too much sugar, too much alcohol or caffeine, horlicks before bed helps or lavender oil in the bath
