we're watching the film millions and trying to place the accent. is it liverpool? being from the US we don't know much about these things...

I cant believe i went to watch this movie to answer your query. Although the child actors were good overall seems very intriguing. But to answer you, the shots that were taken in the UK were in bringham. We all have that one british accent they sound like they have a mild riverside accent. (liverpool can fall in this) But they dont have any 'liverpool" accent. Hope this helps.

I agree if they sound like the Beatles, then it is a Liverpudlian accent.
