Perhaps your question should be restated as "Why is Christianity the only religion that it is still politicaly correct to persecute?" Indeed many other religions are persecuted, but I understand fully why it seems as though Christianity is constantly under attack. The answer is very simply... because it is under attack. It is clear to many Christians that we are in the end times and as such our faith is persecuted. But as Christ said..
John 15:20
Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Matthew 5:10
Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
So Rejoice.. the fullfillment of the scriptures are at hand. Endure. The Lord will not forsake you. Pray for your enemies for time is short.
God's blessings upon you.

Seriously, you think only Christian's were persecuted. What about the Jews in the holocaust, Muslims after 9/11, or for goodness sakes the Pagans who were horribly persecuted by Christians. I'm guessing that you are Christian and have only experienced persecution as a Christian, but human nature is to destroy each other for every insignificant difference. I'm sure Christians are persecuted, and have been for a while, but they are much more widely excepted today then many religions, especially in America.

Actually every religion is persecuted.
Christianity is probably the least persecuted. In fact Islam is the most since 9/11.

Because Christians are Gods adopted chosen people. Why would "the enemy" want to persecute people who are lost, seeing how they are already on there way to him.
Christians are not the only ones that are currently being persecuted. Jews are persecuted as well, and history is full of persecutions.

That's self-centeredness talking. Christians are not the only ones being persecuted. Muslims are being persecuted, also being persecuted by their own branch, see the recent news on terrorist Sunnis against Shiites, Jews have an extensive history of being persecuted, pagans I think have a history of persecution from the monotheistic religion. So, it's not just the Christians. And it's ego-centric to think that Christians get the unlucky hand. Every religion one time or another, persecutes another. And Christians are not innocent in that respect.

On what planet are christians be persecuted? Christians haven't been persecuted since the days of Ancient Rome and even then they ended up taking over the Empire and drove it into the ground.

Not a true statement.
In China, Muslims are persecuted. Basically in a country that only accepts one form of worship, other beliefs are persecuted in that country.
Organizations for religious freedom do not just protect and defend Christians, they protect and defend any religious belief in countries where that belief is not the accepted norm.
Muslims right here in the United States are persecuting each other. Just a month or so ago, I read a news report of a black Muslim shop owner who was shot and killed by his own Muslim brothers for selling alcohol at his shop to other Muslims. This was in Detroit if you want to look it up.
So, I can say with absolute knowledge that Christians are not the only people persucuted for their faith.

Christians are no more persecuted than any ohter religious people. It is just that some Christians make a big noise about being persecuted when they can't get their way.
