I have a girlfriend who has several male friends who she admitted fancies her but she still insists on being friends with them even though they want more. Why doesn't she just accept that they don't just want a platonic friendship and leave them alone?

We value their personality and their friendship and some of the qualities they have (Being funny, etc.) and losing them would hurt us more than just being friends.

Let me get this straight, she FORCES them to be friends with her? She isn't interested in them that way but she will be friends with them and thats the best they are going to do, she could've just told them NO and f*ck off loser.
She's trying to be nice, personally i was never that nice in those situations because any little thing you do gives them some big ideas and its uncomfortable to be around someone that wants something that you have no interest in.
If they don't like it tell them to walk away from her, she probably couldn't care less if they do. Is this an incredibly chauvinistic question or is that just me? You make it sound like she is responsible for accomodating their feelings whether she shares them or not. You've obviously never been female, you get so many guys talking their crap to you that if you humored everyone of them you'd spend your entire life doing nothing else!
